2] Starting Lives and Tokens

Accepted Answer

Players receive 10 lives and 10 tokens to start with.
If a player ends a day with fewer than 10 lives or tokens, these will be topped up to 10 for free the next day.
Players must use tokens to play puzzles.
Each puzzle costs 3 tokens to play.

3] Puzzle Rewards

Accepted Answer

Players earn tokens based on their accuracy:
1st Guess Correct: 10 tokens
2nd Guess Correct (1 mistake): 5 tokens
3rd Guess Correct (2 mistakes): 3 tokens
4th Guess Correct (3 mistakes): 0 tokens
Wrong answers result in a life penalty, with more lives lost for each additional mistake.

4] Incorrect Answer Penalties

Accepted Answer

If a player submits a wrong answer, all answer options are disabled for 2.5 seconds while the image zooms out to reveal more of the photo.
Incorrect Answers reduce token rewards for each puzzle.
Wrong answers result in lives lost, with the number of lives lost increasing with each incorrect answer.

5] Lifelines

Accepted Answer

Players can use lifelines to assist in solving puzzles without incurring penalties:
Zoom: Zooms out to reveal more of the image (2.5second transition).
Move: Shifts to a new section of the photo (instant effect).
50/50: Removes two incorrect options (instant effect).
Lifelines cost tokens, but can also be obtained through in-game chests and the store at a discount.

6] Puzzle Scores

Accepted Answer

Scores are determined by puzzle-solving speed. Faster solves yield higher scores.
Puzzle Bonuses:
3 Puzzle Streak: Solve 3 puzzles consecutively under 5 seconds to earn a 1.5x score multiplier.
5 Puzzle Streak: Solve 5 puzzles consecutively under 4 seconds for a 2x score multiplier.
10 Puzzle Streak: Solve 10 puzzles consecutively under 3 seconds for a 3x score multiplier.

7] Quitting a Puzzle

Accepted Answer

If a player quits a puzzle before solving it, they will receive a score of 0 for that puzzle.

8] Leaderboard and Scoring

Accepted Answer

To appear on the daily leaderboard, players must complete a minimum of 10 puzzles.
Leaderboard Score Calculation: A player's leaderboard score is the average score over their last 10 puzzles (Average Score Per Puzzle or “ASP”).
Playing more puzzles increases opportunities to earn bonuses, boosting the ASP.
Players can play as many puzzles as they like each day, but only the last 10 they play will be counted on the Leaderboard.
Leaderboard scores are reset at midnight each day.

9] Rewards and Cash Prizes

At the end of each day, in-game rewards are granted based on leaderboard rankings, including:
Cash prizes (paid via PayPal once the balance reaches $5).
In-game chests with tokens, lives, and items. 
To withdraw cash, players must provide a valid PayPal email address. Withdrawals are processed within 48 hours.

10] Ad Options for Rewards

Accepted Answer

Players can watch ads to replenish their lives and tokens:
20 lives and 10 tokens per ad (up to 5 times a day).
Players can also obtain additional lives and tokens from in-game chests.

Accepted Answer

Detecto contains thousands of different photos to challenge players daily - photos are shown at random to players, meaning that players can rarely, but sometimes see the same photo more than once.
